 |
|
I had a recital last night, at my school hall :yay: . It went great. The first half was only chamber music. Here is the programme:
First Half:
Beethoven Trio Op.1 no.1 in Eflat major (Piano, Cello, Violin)
Brahms Cello sonata Op.38 in eminor
Second half
Beethoven Sonata Op.90
Schubert sonata D.960 Bflat major
Encore
Schumann Arabesque
Schubert impromptu in Cminor
It was a great concert. The first half was superb. The only problem that I had was, I didn't have time to memorize the Brahms sonata completely, so I had to bring the score, and i asked one of my friends who could read music to be my page turner. She agreed, but she was too careless, she often forgot to turn the pages, and i had to give her constant signs....
Other than that, it was amazing. The second half was long, because of the Schubert sonata, but I was able to pull it off, without any problem. I was happy to see that people wanted encores after such a long performance. So I played two encores. The hall was full. I was thinking about 100 to 150 people, but when I came up, i saw it's like 500 people. I was amazed. This was like the best performance of my life. I will probably get a recording of it by the end of next week, so I will upload it for you guys, if you are interested. |

congrats
i have to say, the time i was most nervous was when i got to pay on stage at orchestra hall (the audotorium where the minnesota orchestra plays), there were so many people there.
other than that, where was one time when i was feeling sick and i had a small solo i was supposed to play and i was so dissoriented, i couln'd quite follow the conductor, so i didn't play it. |
