Apparently, none of us have listened to *anything* at all since February 21st, 2005. To end this bizarre and, I admit, somewhat unsettling phenomenon, I plugged my nose, shut my eyes, and padded my ears (although that later proved to be counterproductive) and took the plunge to see what everyone has been afraid of, yet strangely cautious to verbalise. I found nothing, except a very enjoyable CD of Philip Thomson playing Liszt's Eleven Chorales, S504b. Excellent music!
Come on, everyone, the water's fine!

Haha I was watching American Idol last week, and All the judges don't know what they're talking about, especially Randy. What does "Off-key" mean? lol He's telling the people that are on tune that they are "pitchy" (erggghhh) and he's telling others that just sing loudly that they are awesome. And that he is diggin it dawg. Rawr. And Paula has no back, she only will argue with another judge if it's for a good thing. Otherwise, she just agrees with Randy.

I was listening to Brendel playing Schumann's Kreisleriana and then the Schubert Impromptus.. now I'm listening to Kapell play the Chopin Mazurkas.
How weird that we forgot about this topic! =S

AHHAHAHHAH
That was my Eastern Connecticut Regional Choir when I was in 7th grade. Haha, I was part of the baritone section. That was the weirdest song ever. lol
-And I don't give a darn 'cause I'm stone-dead already. (hahahah)
-One female, she wouldn't behave? lol
Thank goodness I did keyboard Jazz Ensemble this year (Always the best group out of the four [chorus, jazz ensemble, orchestra, and concert band])

Good rec! Cziffra's Chopin is always so original, and in a good way (though my favourite Chopin player is now officially Vasary).
Say, when is the best time to watch those Liszt Comp webcasts, in GMT? Is that on the site somewhere? Maybe I should look before asking, huh...

Oh, damn! Why doesn't anyone TELL me these things??
I guess I now know where *I* stand on the forum ladder...no wonder I always get picked last for our weekly "musical chairs" and "cakewalk" tourneys...
