In the past, I've played Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Alto Saxophone, Trombone, and Trumpet. But, the piano suits me best!
Oh, and in case anyone's wondering, I never really mastered any of those--I just played around with them in various HS bands...I was decent enough to place 2nd or 3rd chair, usually, but then that doesn't really tell you anything considering the average skill level in normal HS bands (I wasn't exactly in the top class band lol). Eventually, I got to the point where I practiced piano the most, and realised that in order to succeed--or rather, come close to succeeding--I had to concentrate on just one.
I played bass clarinet for the longest time, and of the wind instruments I've played, I was of course the best on that one. Tenor sax was my favourite, however, followed by trumpet. By the time I got into those, though, I just didn't have the time to practice as much.

I played violin for 11 yrs (big waste of time ) i also played classical guitar for 7 yrs and electric guitar for 6 yrs. I wish i'd just have concentrated on piano from the beginning.

I started double bass this year. I'd love to have played cello, but with db I'd have more chance in a job in an orchestra later when I fail as a pianist .

I hope to go for conductor when that happens!
Of course, those chances are most likely just as slim--if not slimmer--than those of a pianist.

well, just like most kids, i played recorder , didnt really make it sounds fabulous or something, but at least i was able to play anything(like those pop tunes) after listening to the music 2 or 3 times. i was also in the choir since 3rd grade `````````````i didnt started to concentrate on piano until i realized that my voice would get mess up by cold periodically ( usually twice a year)
if someday i feel OK with my piano playing(maybe that day will never come), i would like to go for some instrument with warm tone like cello. Or maybe precussion( if my room is soundproof)

Well, in school I've played recorder, flute, tuba and tenor saxophone. Yet the only one I really had fun playing was the saxophone, which I played for about four years. It was quite a bit of fun just to play something different for once. But after eight years of piano, that is definitely the instrument for me.

Learnt recorder in school, then piano, harmonica and a lute-like chinese instrument called liu-qin.... I feel instruments like woodwind are easy compared to some others...

I also play the violin--actually it is my "main" instrument. This is only because it is easier to get into youth orchestras on the violin. However, I enjoy the piano more.

I have not other experiences with an instrument, save piano, though I wish that I might have started another instrument, perhaps violion or cello.

I've played a lot of low brass instruments - tuba, baritone, trombone, bass trombone.
I've also played the trumpet, which I enjoyed very much.

Besides piano,
I used to play recorder(for about 2 months) and mandolin ( 3 days, lol)
I took up violin a few weeks ago, was going to take it up ages ago but never did.
Would like to try conducting sometime....

Guitar. And to be honest I think I am better at it than at piano (I've been playing guitar for 4.5 years, piano for about 3.5) but guitar is way harder to get into music colleges with.
