My story is exactly this, only I never started violin. I only started actually liking it about 3 years ago.

I suppose there's always a "down hill" period for almost everyone of us. I stopped but got so much more interested after "The pianist" and a Chopin recital, now I just wish I have more time for practice!

I started clarinet at 9, piano at 10, viola this year, and here i am.
