Nothing beats the Horowitz. I liked Yundi's live, Cziffra was dissapointing, Richter's was ok, Gilels live is amazing.


Horowitz and Gilels for me.

I just heard Bolet's. I think it was nearly as good as the Gilels live. Though, there was something lacking in the slower parts. But there was fury in the furious sections, fo sho.

Have you heard the live bolet? (Tully Hall, 1975)..it's phenomenal.

Speaking of Leslie Howard, it took him 15 years to finish the complete Liszt recordings.

No, but I'll look for it. Even the studio recording was good, so this must be superb.
