Hey all, there was a post on "the longest piece," but what about the shortest piece for the piano.

There is a movement in one of Beethoven's Bagatelle (on pianosociety), and it is "12" seconds.

Anyone know of a piece that is shorter?

I once got a collection of preludes and I swear they were 1 line each prelude!! that must be like 10 seconds de slow ones

omg! it doesnt says the name of the composer Surprised,I think they might be some kind of small studies Surprised but they are 24 preludes and each of them have only 1 line Surprised

me? I'm talking about music, themes, melodies, all compiled into a short piece...therefor the shortest piece you know of.

no no, of course they are melodies, themes that... but I think they were made like studies, like Chopin studies, but the composer must have made them for begginers
