Chopin Music

Hey all, there was a post on "the longest piece," but what about the shortest piece for the piano.

There is a movement in one of Beethoven's Bagatelle (on pianosociety), and it is "12" seconds.

Anyone know of a piece that is shorter?

I once got a collection of preludes and I swear they were 1 line each prelude!! that must be like 10 seconds de slow ones

but they are 24 preludes and each of them have only 1 line Surprised

me? I'm talking about music, themes, melodies, all compiled into a short piece...therefor the shortest piece you know of.

no no, of course they are melodies, themes that... but I think they were made like studies, like Chopin studies, but the composer must have made them for begginers
