Symphony No. 1

Postby calebrw on Sun Oct 16, 2005 10:06 pm

The Symphony No. 1 in B-Flat Major is the product of summer boredom on my part. The main part of the symphony was composed in only 4 days. I was done on Friday July 1, 2005. Because it was created so fast, I have been spending the time inbetween then and now touching it up.

The symphony is written for a full orchestra although that is not always used in favored of a smaller group of instruments. The primary key is B-Flat, but forays into C and F do occur. The piece is 4 movements in quasi-classical style form.

Other than that, the symphony is 17:06 minutes long. The first and last movements are 4/4 time, 2/4 for the second movement, and 3/4 for the 3rd movement.

For now I will upload the PDFs and MUS/MID combo RARs. MP3 (Finale create) and ZIPs soon.

Feedback is always appreciated and I look foward to hearing it now matter what your feelings are.
