Chopin Etude Op. 10, No5

Me likey da speed. :lol:I recorded this on my Edirol. The piano is a Kawai RX-3 (6'1")

Very good! I like the speed, as well. Some pianists play it too quickly, in my opinion, but this speed is just right. My only comment is that some places should be more staccato, i.e. in the left hand. Mayhaps less pedal would be better.

I'm learning this one now; it's a lot of fun! :)

My thoughts exactly. Perhaps 'marcato' You have a really good ear to pick up on that.

I should have used staccato peddalling instead of legato pedal. In reality, this piece sounds best with minimal pedal.
