Haydn Variations in f minor. (can't play for beans!)

I'm still playing all my old stuff cuz the last time I had lessons was like 5 weeks ago (I was away; now my teacher's on vaca), so here's the stuff I've STILL got for piano lessons:

- Bach 3 Voice Invention No.15 in B Minor (* sigh * can't want to get rid of this one already when I start lessons again)
- Czerny Etude Op.299 No.11

- Chopin Mazurka Op.63/No.3 in C # Minor

hmm.. I think that's it... I really need some new songs fast before I go crazy. lol.

anyway, I had auditioned in June for the position of Head Upperschool (grades 6-12) Accompanist, and I got the position
So here's the stuff that I KNOW I'm playing (this is for an all girls choir):
- My Strongest Suit (from Elton John & Tim Rice's Aida)
- Down to the River to Pray (from the Motion Picture O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU?)
- Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose (a weird mix thing lol)
- It's Raining Men! (love this one! )
- Redneck Woman (pretty weird song.. lol)

and I MIGHT, just MIGHT, be doing Bésame Mucho (by Consuelo Velazquez).. but I'll probably actually end up singing that.

Debussy, I've not played a lot of those pieces(actually none) but i heard that Prelude in C# minor is really cool.

I've been playing Schubert's 142/4 Impromptu a lot lately, but that's just for fun. And Chopin's Ballades, especially Nos. 1, 3, and 4, are always being cycled through my stacks of sheet music. However, the main attraction for me right now, as for the past couple of weeks and, doubtless, the next several months (or perhaps years), is Ravel's Ondine.

Debussy, I've not played a lot of those pieces(actually none) but i heard that Prelude in C# minor is really cool.

It is! You must learn it and give it a shot. I'll tell you now though that you will need big hands to get some of the chords.

Haha I've been waiting for the WTC for so long, that's why I didn't like the inventions all that much . WTC is 50 times more fun lol. The prelude in E major is beautiful, too. I'm not too fond of fugues in general.

it takes some time to remember the little details and stuff in each, and it's rather annoying. lol.
I don't really like op.299.. I liked what I did before better, although I don't know from what that was from but it was also czerny.. they were more lyrical etudes
