Bach is becoming my favorite composer...
Anyways, why am I feeling tension in my forearms when I play this prelude? Is it because it is so repetitive?

Are your pinkies flying up? If so, tension will result.
Use a mirror and watch your hands and arms. Or videotape yourself. You'll probably learn of a problem you had yet to identify.
