Well I agree with Hoffman as far as typical technical standards are concerned, but with accordance to my own opinion (which is really what the idea is about) I have to say Michelangeli. I just like his tone, colouring, and everything else created by his unique technique, even more than the effects of Hoffman (who I also love very much).
