Did he give his pieces the names or were they given names by others?

I think the titles were originally given by Scriabin. I don't think anyone else would have come up with stuff like that. :P

Heh, I listened to the Poème Satanique but it was quite dissapointing to see that the name was way cooler than the piece itself. >_>

Anyways, back to topic. Sorabji's pieces have some pretty cool names. For example "Fuga Tertia Triplex Dux primus" from Opus Clavicembalisticum.
