Piano and Cello

My professor plays the Cello and he wants to play a duet with me at the piano, but i dont have ideas about pieces. My point : he is very good playing the cello, im not an expert but i have medium skills at the piano,,, wich composition(S) do you recomend me?? if you know some beautiful duet let me know...thanks a lot...

saint-saens...brahms...haydn...dvorak. hmmm its hard to say because when you say that you have moderate skills at the piano, someone who also says "moderate" can be at actual different levels of playing. But I'd look into Brahms, sure he is a little hard but some of his cello/piano/(if you can find a violin player that would be even better) is very beautiful.

Chopin's sonata for Cello and Piano (op.65) ? The 3rd mov. is very famous. I prefer the 4th... and the 1st :)

Or... Chopin's (again :p) polonaise for Cello & Piano op.3 in C. I love that !
