Favorite Bach Keyboard Work

I was just wondering...
Out of these, which is your favorite on the whole?

That's a hard question, because I'm not familiar with all of Bach's works. If I had to choose, I'd say the WTK. It's just brillant, everything a pianist needs is in there, it's like the Old Testament of piano. I also like the Goldberg variations very much, especially Gould's version.
I think I've never heard any Tocatta by Bach, and just small segments from his Paritas.

It was between the French Suites and Toccatas..I chose the latter..

I chose the toccatas as well, although there are a number of other works not listed here for keyboard that I'm absolutely in love with. His transcriptions for keyboard, fantasies, french overture, caprices...

It's all good.

In general though, I have a favorite range of BWV's- the ones in the 900's!

The toccatas are amazing- they're not his most developed works, tis true, but they're very compeling!

The Chromatic Fantasy as well (shame on you for leaving that out! )- definitely not the "monstrosity" Gould considered it, haha.

You'd hardly believe this, but my favorite Bach piece, as of late, is the underperformed Fantasia in G minor, BWV 917. It's short (only two pages) but it contains some of Bach's most subtle and gorgeous counterpoint.
