I did not find that particularly eccentric of him, whence regarding his total reputation as a concert pianist. He is not my favorite pianist, either, although his technical skills are superb. His expression and dynamics are pretty straightforward, as he is a blatlant romantic.

Nah..da Ziff video when he stares down the audience before finishing the GGC is much better...as is Gavrilov starting the bflat prelude of Rachmaninoff BEFORE THE AUDIENCE IS DONE CLAPPING...classic.
