How Hard is the "Revolutionary" Etude

Hey I have playing the piano for four years. And I Taught Myself the Revolutionary Etude about 10 months ago. And I still struggle when I play it, How long Before I can Master It? :?:

You are ambitious to take on such a piece at this time, but I blame you not. :P

Mastering a piece is a question of knowing the musical and technical aspects of the work thoroughly on both small and large scales. Also, you need to be able to perform it confidently. It goes without saying that large amounts of practice are the only vehicle for accomplishing this.

It's not too bad to learn the notes- full of patterns, easy to memorize- speeding it up is difficult though!

My teacher told me to learn it this summer, so I am.
